Rest as an Act of Trust
In the middle of midterms and a never‑ending to‑do list, "rest" often feels like a luxury we can't afford. But in Matthew 11, Jesus doesn't ask us to finish our work before we come to Him. He says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
True rest isn't just about sleep; it's about shifting the weight of our worries from our shoulders to His. When we choose to pause and spend time in the Word, we are telling God, "I trust You with my time and my tasks."
"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." — Matthew 11:29
